I’ve invited one of my favorites, fellow business owner Jessica from Bloomy Cheese and Provisions, to Saint George so we can throw a fabulous new year dinner party together. Gather for creative and delicious Winter cheer with two women passionate about the rivertowns and community! Bloomy is an independent woman-owned specialty cheese shop in Dobbs Ferry founded by longtime cheese professional Jessica Galen. Jessica is relentless in her commitment to the mission of “Lactose & Tolerance”—building community and solidarity through delicious, ethical foods.
We’ll welcome you to our cocktail-style dinner party with only the best Saint George hors d’oeuvres and some lively mingling. You’ll make your very own silk scarf using natural dye materials that I grow and forage. Then Jessica will talk cheese and melt some Raclette over Saint George’s selection of cured meats, pickles, and other traditional accompaniments. Perfectly paired wines will be also be procured just for the occasion.
Jessica will have cheeses and I will have a selection of my botanically dyed textiles for purchase so you can take the party home with you.
